Geralyn holds a Masters in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), located in Newton Massachusetts. The New England School of Acupuncture is the oldest accredited acupuncture school in the United States, founded in 1975, with a demanding program including the study of Western medical sciences as well as over 3,100 hours of hands on clinical training. She is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and State Licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. She practices acupuncture in the styles of both the Chinese and Japanese lineages, and offers Herbal Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Nutritional/Lifestyle Counseling to her patients. She is certified in Functional Medicine Blood Chemistry Panel Analysis, Hormonal Testing, Tickborne Infections, Auriculotherapy (ear acupuncture), Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Shakuju Therapy (a non-insertion Japanese style of acupuncture), Muscle Testing, Cupping, Orthopedic acupuncture, Balance Method (Dr. Tan and Master Tung), and Kinesiology Sports Taping. 

Her most recent focus of study has been completing her Clinical Doctorate and continuing education in Functional Medicine. Her greatest passion is bridging ancient and modern forms of holistic medicine and assisting the formation of a new paradigm in healthcare.  

Geralyn provides exceptional care for her patients by creating highly individualized treatment plans targeted to achieve their health and wellness goals by restoring homeostasis and encouraging clear communication between the body and the mind. Prior to studying Acupuncture she pursued the study of nutrition, reiki, yoga, movement, human psychology and meditation for over 25 years. She has pursued various athletic endeavors throughout her life and has a fondness for helping athletes of all ages to continue doing what they love most. Growing up as a musician playing the cello and piano, she cultivated a sensitivity that helps her to tune in to the most subtle of tactile energetics. Her long standing passion and reverence for the body's innate healing capabilities and her commitment to helping people live happier, healthier lives has led her down this rewarding path.
